Look at the slides, look at the sequence of DNA
being copied and look at the sequence of RNA
being made. In the slide, the bottom strand of DNA
(3' to 5' strand = template) is used to make a
MRNA with a complementary sequence (5' to 3'). In
the picture you sent me, you copied the top strand
of DNA (5' to 3') and made a MRNA with a
complementary sequence that was (3' to 5). You
can't make RNA in the 3' to 5' direction.
