The ways in which mitosis and meiosis are similar and the ways in which they are different.
Concept introduction:
The mitosis and meiosis are two ways of nuclear division and reproduction. In mitosis, there is a splitting of the cell which creates two identical copies of the parent cell. In meiosis, the new cells formed, have half of the usual number of chromosomes and produce gametes.
