Explanation of Solution
In carbon monoxide, there is a triple bond between Carbon and Oxygen. Oxygen is more electronegative than Carbon. So due to the more electro negativity of Oxygen, the electrons in the triple bond get pulled more towards Oxygen creating a negative charge on Oxygen and a positive charge on Carbon. Due to this electronegative Oxygen of one molecule forms a dipole-dipole bond with electropositive Carbon of another molecule.
