Introduction:
Genes that code for proteins are known as protein-coding genes. The central dogma states that the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is converted into RNA (ribonucleic acid) and then the RNA, in turn, produces proteins. The process of converting RNA into proteins is called translation.
