Introduction:
Maturation of ovum occurs in a female during puberty. The mature ovum released from the ovary moves into the fallopian tube. In case the ovum is not fertilized, it will pass along with endometrial lining through the menstrual flow. The ovarian cycle has three-phase- follicular phase, ovulation phase, and luteal phase.
