Vitamins are vital nutrients that are needed by the body; only about minor amounts that are said to micronutrients. It is used for the development and growth of our body. Some vitamins are also considered as antioxidants that help in scavenging free radicals that reduce cancer. Vitamins are classified as water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins. Water-soluble vitamins are B-complex vitamins and ascorbic acids.
