To Explain: The concept of quantized energy.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Energy is considered to exist in form of fixed packets called photons. Each packet of energy is called quanta and energy is said to be quantized.
An atom or molecule can have certain energies only. Energy is said to be quantized and the atom or molecule can only exist in certain discrete energy levels. When an atom jumps between two energy levels, energy equivalent to difference between those levels is emitted or absorbed.
