Introduction:

Lipoproteins are the assembly of proteins and lipids, which serves the purpose of transporting lipids (mainly cholesterol) in the blood or extracellular fluid. These have phospholipids on the exterior while other lipids in the interior. Phospholipids are so oriented that the hydrophilic part is on the outer side while the hydrophobic part is on the inner side.
