Summary Introduction
Salmonellosis is a gastrointestinal disease and most of the cases are found to be waterborne infections rather than that of the foodborne infections. The food poisoning caused by the infection with the species of the Salmonella bacterium is termed as salmonellosis. Along with salmonellosis Campylobacter infections are found to be the most common foodborne bacterial infections. Campylobacter infections cause a very high fever, nausea, malaise, headache, and diarrhea with watery and bloody emissions.
