How Ivan Pavlov conditioned dogs to salivate when they heard a bell.
Introduction:
The Pavlovian theory is a study procedure that combines stimulation with a conditioned response. Pavlov discovered that the activities could cause conditional reactions that he performed and showed with his dogs in his popular experiment.
Explanation of Solution
This is the trigger paired to the food to eventually make the dog salivate to the bell's vibration. Initial salivation in combination with food is an unconditioned response (UR) and ultimately becomes a conditioned response (CR) when coupled with the bell.
Thus, in this way Ivan Pavlov conditioned dogs to salivate when they heard a bell.
