To explain:
How emphysema would cause difficulty for a person when climbing stairs.
Introduction:
Emphysema is a lung disease where people suffer from shortness of breath. The air sacs in the lungs are destroyed in patients with emphysema.
Explanation of Solution
Emphysema would cause shortness of breath when climbing stairs. The body suddenly needs more oxygen so it feels winded. One of another reason that it affects is that we use muscles that are designed for powerful motions and muscles like the glutes to walk up the stairways that we may not exercise often.
Thus, in this way emphysema would cause difficulty for a person when climbing stairs.
