To write:
The difference between menstrual cycle and polar body and explain how they are related to each other.
Introduction:
The menstrual cycle is the cycle that occurs in every woman between the ages of 8-55. It lasts two to seven days. It occurs every 28 to 30 days. The polar body is the product of the meiotic cell division. Both are parts of the female reproductive system.
Explanation of Solution
The menstrual cycle is the bleeding period in females that occurs every month. Although the average period is 28 days, a shorter or longer duration is normal. The menstrual period begins between 11 and 14 years of age in females.
Whereas a polar body is a small haploid cell which, during oogenesis, is simultaneously shaped like an egg cell, but normally cannot be fertilized. The diploid cells often split unevenly when the diploid cells become cytokinesis following meiosis and produce egg cells.
The menstrual cycle and polar body are related to each other as both are the parts of the female reproductive system and both play important functions in the reproductive system.
Thus, the menstrual cycle and polar body are related to each other.
