People started to use the social media on daily basis. Before people can use 140 characters or less but recently they can use 500 million tweets. The stream of tweets is known as fire hose. The information of users in twitters is sold to the other companies for money. Twitter purchased one of the information providers called Gnip and only limited companies have access to fire hose. Gnip also mines information from Facebook, Tumblr, Google+ and other medias. This information are helpful for many multinational companies to know about the consumers easily.
