Introduction:

An inoculating loop or just loop is a tool that is used to pick and transfer microorganisms from a culture to a new fresh growth medium. The loops used for one time only are the disposable loops made up of plastics whereas the ones made up of nichrome may be used multiple times by sterilizing them every time.
