Introduction:
Lactation is the process of secretion of the milk from mammary glands. There are different hormones that influence this secretion, namely, the human placental lactogen, estrogen, prolactin, progesterone, oxytocin, follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin, growth hormone, and adrenocorticotropic hormone. The growth hormone also regulates cell regeneration and cell reproduction.
