Chapter 43.1, Problem 1RIA
Summary Introduction

Water is an essential and fundamental right for all but still, more than 2 billion people do not have access to fresh, clean and drinkable water. It is important to monitor water for purity as it might contain bacterial, viral or protozoan pathogens. Impurities in water are present because of animal waste and human waste and it is transmitted to human beings either by drinking or consuming seafood which behaves like a vector of diseases. Therefore, water purification is essential to control disease transmission.
