Introduction:

DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) replication process is divided into three phases, initiation phase, elongation phase, and termination phase. DNA replication in bacteria starts at the single defined DNA sequence called the origin of replication (ori). The termination of DNA replication follows when the two oppositely oriented replication forks meet to create double-stranded DNA molecules.
