Given information

Slide to be shown has the dimensions: 3 cm by 4 cm

The slide is 5 cm behind the lens

Projector is 300 cm apart from screen

Formula used:

There will be similar image will be formed

Thus, ratios of the corresponding sides of the similar triangles will take place

Calculation:

If H be the height of the image on the screen, we have

  $\frac{H}{4}=\frac{300}{5}\Rightarrow H=240cm$

Further, if X be the width of the image on the screen, then we have

  $\frac{x}{300}=\frac{3}{9}\Rightarrow x=100cm$

Hence, size of the image on screen will be 100 cm by 240 cm
