Question
Chapter 9.5, Problem 1R
Summary Introduction
To review:
The pathways or reactions for the anabolism of a protein and the catabolism of a lipid, which connect with glycolysis and citric acid cycle (CAC).
Introduction:
All the pathways leading to complete oxidation of glucose are interrelated with one another through their substrates. For example, the end-product of glycolysis becomes the substrate for the proceeding reactions. Apart from the respiratory pathways, the compounds are frequently exchanged between other pathways, which link the catabolism of a lipid or anabolism of a protein.
