Explanation of Solution
Evaporation means a change of state of liquid to the gas phase. For this change means to evaporate, the molecules of liquid states must gain extra kinetic energy to overcome the attractive force between the liquid molecules. When due to this kinetic energy, molecules of the liquid phase escape from liquid to the gas phase, it is called evaporation.
The boiling point of any liquid is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of that liquid is equal to one-atmosphere pressure.
Thus, the boiling is a process in which a liquid changes into a vapor phase.
