Introduction:
The mapping of the genes or genome can be done by sequencing technologies. The next- generation sequencing technologies involve pyrosequencing which includes the release of pyrophosphates. The DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) fragments are attached to the adapter molecules and beads which are then treated with the sequencing reagents.
