Introduction:
The mouth is otherwise called as buccal cavity or oral cavity. The tongue is bulky and muscular, it moves easily and quickly. It is one of the sense organ. It skillfully controls the food between the teeth without being bitten. The salivary glands in the mouth secrete saliva that helps in maintaining the moisture in the mouth and also for chewing and swallowing food. The pharynx is a cavity after the mouth and the nose that joins them with the esophagus.
