Suppose the 2 way table of bone fractures basing of the using of SSRI along with total and the conditional distribution of fracture rates for non-usage and usage of SSRI

Fracture rate for the patient taking SSRI

  $\begin{array}{l}=\frac{\text{no}\text{.}\text{of}\text{fractured people that are using SSRI}}{\text{Total number people that are using SSRI}}\\ =\frac{14}{137}\times 100\\ =10.2\%\end{array}$

Fracture rate for the patient not taking SSRI

  $\begin{array}{l}=\frac{\text{no}\text{.}\text{of}\text{fractured people that are not using SSRI}}{\text{Total number people that are not using SSRI}}\\ =\frac{244}{4871}\times 100\\ =5.0\%\end{array}$

Therefore the fracture rate is larger than in patients that are taking SSRI in comparison to the patients that are not taking SSRI. Therefore the conclusion is that there is an association between experiencing bone fractures and taking SSRI antidepressants.
