Interpretation:
Determine whether the two compounds are superimposable and confirm whether the two compounds are different.
Concept introduction:
When two compounds are superimposable mirror images, then the compound is the same, but if they are not superimposable mirror images of each other, they are diastereomers of each other. These diastereomers are stereoisomers, which are not mirror images of each other. To be stereoisomers, they must have the same molecular formula and have the same connectivity but different orientations of the atoms/groups.

On b), I understand that we don't know which side of the molecule the Cl would attach on, but I was under the impression that we only show stereochemistry on a chiral center, and I do not see where the chiral center is on this molecule. Would you be able to explain this?
