Introduction:
Under stressful environmental conditions, all the cells do not simultaneously activate their stress response genes. When the regulation is needed, stress response genes are turned on and simultaneously turned off when the conditions become normal. YFP (yellow fluorescent protein) is a derived form of green fluorescent protein that fuses with a gene.
