Disaccharides are carbohydrates that contain two monosaccharide units that are joined together. When disaccharides are hydrolyzed, two monosaccharide units are obtained. The glycosidic linkage between the two monosaccharide units is cleaved.

Interpretation:
The representation that represents cellulose has to be given.
Concept Introduction:
Polysaccharides contains three or more number of monosaccharide units that are joined together by glycosidic linkage. The bonds that join the two monosaccharide units are known as glycosidic bonds.
