Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
The amount up to which the lens converges or diverges the light incident on it is decided by its focal length. Convex lens has positive focal length and concave lens has negative focal length.
The point at which an image is formed by a lens, depends on the focal length of a lens and also on the separation between the object and the lens. It is not influenced by the lens diameter. Hence the location of the image is not changed by changing the diameter of the lens used. Also there is no any effect on the image produced because nature of the image produced also depends on the focal length of a lens and the distance between the object and the lens.
