Elongation factor-thermo unstable (EF-Tu) is an enzyme, which catalyzes the binding of A site of the ribosome to the aminoacyl-tRNA. EF-Tu is a G-protein, which is found in complex with GTP (guanine triphosphate). The EF-Tu-GTP complex binds to aminoacyl-tRNA and forms a complex.
