Explanation of Solution

Taste buds − They are found on the tongue. Taste buds contain microscopic hairs known as microvilli. These microvilli send message to the brain about the taste of food.

Lens − It is the transparent and biconvex structure found in the eyes. Along with the cornea, it helps in the refraction of light that focuses on the retina.

Retina − It is the thin layer of tissue found at the back of the eyes from inside. It receives light being focused by the lens, and then converts it into neural signals.

Rods − These are photoreceptor cells found in the retina. These cells are sensitive to light and give good vision in dim light.

Cones − These are photoreceptor cells found in the retina. They respond to the light depending on its wavelength.

Cochlea − It is found in the inner ear. In the form of vibrations, cochlea receives sound, leading to stereocilia to move. Then, stereocilia converts these vibrations to nerve impulse.

Semicircular canals- These are three semicircular and interconnected tubes found in the inner ear. They function to keep the body in balance and coordination.
