- SMIS consists of three roles. They are:
- Users
- Organizations or companies that choose to support a presence on one or more social media sites.
- Communities
- Group of people with common interest in order to communicate and share ideas.
- Social media providers
- It enables the making of social relationships among people with similar interests or social networks.

- It enables the making of social relationships among people with similar interests or social networks.

Social network:
