Anticodon of mRNA and the amino acid sequence that it carries.

Introduction:

DNA strand is used to make mRNA, the mRNA strand is complementary to the DNA strand except that it carries uracil instead of thymidine. The 5’ and 3’ end of mRNA contains an untranslated segment known as 5’UTR and 3’UTR respectively.

The middle region contains codons that recognize the specific amino acid sequence of the new polypeptide chain. Complementarity exists between mRNA and tRNA molecules.
