Introduction:
The process of photosynthesis helps in the conversion of an inorganic carbon dioxide molecule into an organic molecule, in the presence of light energy. The energy production involves light dependent and light independent reactions. The proteins and pigments present in the thylakoids, which are responsible for the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis process, are organized in the photosystems. Photosystems are the working units of photosynthesis.
