Introduction:

In a DNA, a negative charge is found in phosphate groups of nucleotide that lead to making DNA negatively charged. The Mass of the DNA is directly proportional to the number of base pairs in that DNA. Agarose gel electrophoresis is used to separate DNA fragments. DNA probes are single-stranded DNA molecules which are labeled either by attaching color fragments or by radioactivity. It is used to locate specific fragments of DNA.
