Chapter 21, Problem 1CQ
Summary Introduction

To explain: The way in which dideoxyribonucleotide triphosphate causes chain termination by drawing the structure of dideoxyribonucleotide triphosphate.

Introduction: A nucleic acid is a polymer present in the organisms. It is made up of various subunits of nucleotide. A nucleotide is composed of three units. These units are “a pentose sugar, nitrogenous bases, and a phosphate group.” ddNTP stands for “dideoxynucleoside triphosphates.” It is a type of chemically synthesized nucleotide. It contains a unique feature that is not observed in the rest of the nucleotides.
