Introduction:
In plant, pollen grain is a small microscopic structure, which carries the male gametes. It is the mobile gamete and the female gamete is immobile. It lands on the female part of the plant and delivers male gamete for the fertilization process in plants.
Explanation of Solution
Once upon a time, there was a pollen grain named Mr. X. One fine day, mother flower of Mr. X got mature and give rise to a cute little pollen. After few days, the time arrived when Mr.X had to start his journey. He was waiting for the bee to arrive so that he can take a ride to find his perfect mate.
As soon as the bee arrived and refueled herself with the nectar, Mr.X along with his brother climbed up on the leg of bee to be transported to another flower. Bee carried him from one flower to another, but as other co-passengers were in the row, Mr.X had to wait for his right time for landing. While on the journey, Mr. X got to see new flowers and a great view of the garden he was living in. After visiting a few flowers, Mr. X knew, it was his time to land. Mr.X was excited as well as he was very terrified, because he heard that many of his fellow pollen landed on different station, and were not able to meet their mates.
Finally, Mr. X landed on a stamen, and at this time, he was thankful to the mother nature as he landed on the correct flower. He said good bye to his carrier bee and bee flew away after completing the boarding, deboarding of pollens and of course after refilling herself with all the nectar she can carry.
Now, Mr.X was landed on the stigma of the flower, but the journey was not over here. He had to go down slender style of the female part to meet the female gamete. Without any Delay, Mr. X started making pollen tube. After some time, the pollen tube was complete and Mr. X arrived in the ovary of the female part. There he had his first look on the female ovule and Mr. X was sure she is the one capable of being making our children together. Now, Mr. X was ready to fertilize the egg and become a father. Now, their children are following the same footstep of their mother and father and continuing the species alive.
