Introduction:

Bread mold is also termed as black bread mold and the scientific name is rhizopusstolonifer. We can observe this fungus in our spoiled foods in the kitchen especially in bread. It is very harmful to eat bread mold as it can cause health issues like food poisoning, allergic problem, and even cause respiratory problems.

Explanation of Solution

In the kitchen, the bread mold can be spread from the air. Even after baking if the bread is kept inan exposed area, the bread molds start to spread. The environmental conditions like humidity, heat, and light are not good for bread but it is favorable for the growth of mold, hence we should keep bread in an airtight package. Another way through which the bread mold spread in the kitchen is if we kept the bread near food where it already has molds. The spore of molds falls in the fresh bread and begins to form hyphae and get spread.

Conclusion

The bread mold can spread in the kitchen via exposure of bread to air, light, and humid temperature or it can also spread if kept with contaminated food.
