The output voltage v0 and the input voltage vi of the following circuit is to be proved to be related as

v0=vi(R1+R2R1)

The concept of virtual ground(short) is used based on which the voltage maintained at both the terminals is the same. From the given circuit the relation between the input and output voltage can be obtained using virtual short and potential divider concept. The output can then be proved observed to follow the input with a gain.
