Introduction:
An electron transport chain is a series of reactions where electrons aretransferred from electron donors to electron acceptors. This reaction requires the protons being transferred across the inner membrane of mitochondria. This causes a gradient of a proton whichhelps in the synthesis of the ATP molecule.
