Interpretation:

The Law Conversation of Mass needs to be explained.

Concept introduction:

Elements are the basic unit of matter which can combine with same or different elements to form molecule and compounds. Elements are composed of same type of atoms therefore they exhibit unique physical and chemical properties.

Explanation of Solution

The Law Conversation of Mass states that it is not possible to create or destroy mass in a any chemical reaction.

For example, copper cycle is a series of conversion of solid copper to get it back after different chemical changes. Reaction of solid copper with HNO₃ forms copper nitrate which further changes to copper oxide. Reaction of copper oxide with sulfuric acid forms copper sulfate which further reacts with Zn to form copper metal and zinc sulfate

The mass of copper as a starting is same as the mass obtained at the end of the cycle.
