Introduction:
Researchers often introduced antisense and sense RNA into cells to inhibit mRNA translation. Specific mRNAs can be targeted for translational inhibition by double-stranded RNA mechanism. For this, Caenorhabditiselegans was used because of the ease of injection of RNA and the expression of many of its genes was already established.
