Chapter 17, Problem 6EQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
miRNA (micro ribonucleic acid) replacement therapy and three different examples of its approaches.
Introduction:
miRNAsare, as the name suggests, short sequences of RNA which do not code for proteins. Instead, they are involved in regulation of gene expression. They bind to mRNAs (messenger RNAs) through base complementarity, thus, decreasing translation of said mRNA into a functional protein.
