The balance equation for the calcium and oxalate ions is as follows:

NaCl(aq)+NH3(aq)+H2O(l)+CO2(s)                              NH4Cl(aq)+NaHCO3(s)

Given:

Amount of NH3 = 10.0 g

Amount of CO2 = 15.0 g

Calculation:

Number of moles of NH3 and CO2 are calculated as follows:

Number of moles=mass in gmolarmass=10
